Some people like awkward.
I like awkward…most of the time.
However, I ran into a very awkward situation today, and I don’t know if I’m at fault or if the “other” is at fault?
I’m minding my own business at Starbucks. The time comes for me to go use the facilities. I walk across the lobby and enter the private bathroom. There is a guy already in said bathroom. Door left unlocked.
Awkward.
The look we exchanged was even more awkward.
I didn’t like this awkward.
I blame you Mr. I-Don’t-Care-If-You-Walk-In-On-Me-Guy!
Lock the door.
Grace,
Brian
Completely his fault. I hate it when people leave the door unlocked. And then they give you a look like you should have knocked all the while you’re looking at them like how stupid do you have to be to not know how to push in the freaking button that would have prevented this entire senario.
Ugh. That’s awful. Not the brightest bulb in the shed, apparently. 🙂
that kinda stuff would ruin my day….
I\’m out of leuage here. Too much brain power on display!
That does suck and it is mostly his fault but did you give a courtesy knock and then listen? Brian how are you and do you still have the same number?
Having been there and done this in similar situations. On both sides of the dang door. I must say… There are a lot of reasons why the door may have not been locked. Like maybe the guy was in such a hurry if he had locked the door the scene would have been even much more awkward. Lots of medical issues for why that could be so. Bet you will probably be knocking in the future. And other than that I must say… Stuff happens.
Sorry, does sound awkward, I guess you could boycott Starbucks or something! 🙂
